Community and environmental charity Groundwork East are running a free weekly course on learning more about where our food comes from, what’s in season, how to grow food alongside savvy shopper tips and recipe ideas. It’s geared around preparing and cooking low-cost, nutritious meals that families can enjoy eating together.

Dates: Fridays from May 29th – July 17th

Times: 10am – 12.30pm

Location: Memorial Park Allotment Gardens, Luton

Each week will cover a different topic such as growing herbs and salad on the windowsill, growing from leftovers and preparing and cooking food with young children. There will be recipes to take home and try.

Things to be aware of:

  • A commitment to attend each week is required
  • You must live in Luton to be eligible

To register your interest, please email kealey.henderson@groundwork.org.uk or call 07702 941445 and she will be in contact to confirm details and officially book you onto the course.
