New partnership will have a Mammoth impact!
19 Dec 2024
Squared are delighted to receive a donation from Mammoth Equipment Ltd & MTS Suction Systems UK for their new hostel welfare support fund.
This new support fund is aimed at helping break down barriers for young people to move out of supported accommodation and become independent. This support fund will specifically aim at providing funding for practical items such as forms of ID like driving licences and passports, work attire and rail cards that help our customers on their journey to become independent.
Having the right work attire, forms of ID and the costs of transport can all be barriers to getting employment or opening a bank account, making it more difficult for young people who are homeless to rebuild their lives.
Russell Fairhurst, Managing Director of Mammoth Equipment Ltd & MTS Suction Systems UK, said “It came about as we were looking around our industry as it gets to this time of year, where we all give out gifts to our own customers and supporters in the spirit of good cheer. But while we’re giving gifts to people who already have everything they need; we wondered if there was something we could do for those who are really in need. We decided that Squared’s hostel welfare support fund was the right way for us, as we know that our donation will help people get back on their feet and into society. Our hope is that more companies consider joining us in donating to an organisation like Squared in future years for those who are less fortunate to help spread that Festive cheer a little further.”
Graham Haynes, Head of Homes at Squared, said “The support of Mammoth Equipment Ltd & MTS Suction Systems UK will help our customers to become independent more quickly. Our hostel welfare support fund will empower our customers, providing them with the foundations they need to progress and rebuild their lives. A huge thank you to Mammoth Equipment Ltd & MTS Suction Systems UK for your generous support and for championing our hostel welfare support fund.”
