We're number 26!

We’re delighted to share that we have achieved the 26th position in the National Centre for Diversity’s “Top 100 Most Inclusive Workplaces Index 2023”!  

This is an amazing achievement for Squared, evidencing our continuous commitment to FREDIE – Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement. 

The National Centre for Diversity (NCFD) provides organisations with a framework to turn FREDIE from an acronym to a reality. As well as their now well established NCFD annual awards (one of which our very own CEO Lynda Rees won in 2018), they also assess and award a range of accreditations for organisations to work towards to continuously improve and strive to go further and become even more inclusive. 

The following is a statement from the NCFD website:  

“In response to the prevailing cost of living crisis, we made the difficult decision not to go ahead with the FREDIE Awards Ceremony this year. Our commitment to recognising and honouring outstanding efforts in fostering diversity and inclusion remains unwavering and the publication of the 2023 Top 100 Most Inclusive UK Workplaces is a platform to highlight and celebrate the remarkable achievements of everyone who has committed themselves to building inclusive cultures.  Congratulations to every organisation and individual who works tirelessly to make their workplaces better.”

FREDIE matters to us because it is at the heart of what we do. We believe that everyone who makes up our team must be aligned with these principles to create the best possible culture for the organisation. If we can't embody the different characteristics of FREDIE we can't provide the best possible service to our customers either.
