Our aim as your landlord is to provide you with a base to build from. When you are ready to move on, their are a few things you need to complete when ending your tenancy:

  • give us a minimum of four weeks notice
  • allow us to inspect your home before your tenancy ends
  • leave your home and garden clean and tidy (please be aware that we will charge you for any damage that you have caused or any belongings or rubbish that you leave behind)
  • make sure that your rent and any other monies that you owe us are paid up to date by the time your tenancy ends
  • remove all your belongings and rubbish from your home, including the attic, garden and any outbuildings

If you are on a joint tenancy, the tenancy can be ended by just one customer. If you both want the tenancy to end, please follow the steps above. If only one of you wishes to end the tenancy, please contact your Housing Officer to talk about this.

All of our tenancies currently end on a Sunday and keys must be returned by 10.00am on the following day or a further weeks rent will be charged.
