- One of the easiest most efficient ways of paying is via our customer portal with 24/7 access. If you have not registered, please contact your Support Coach for your log in details to sign up.
- Efficient and reliable, direct debit is also easy to monitor. Please contact your Customer Support Coach who will set this up for you. All direct debit payments are covered by the direct debit guarantee.

If you are going to have trouble making your rent or PC payment on time, you are strongly advised to let us know as soon as possible – we understand that sometimes problems arise and if we are notified in time we can usually make arrangements that could prevent you falling into arrears.
You may receive a rent and service charge increase during your time with Squared, this typically happens once per year. You will be notified in writing in advance of any rent increases.
If you are claiming Housing Benefit and begin working, you will become liable for the full rent from the day you start work. This is unaffordable for most people, due to supporting housing charges, so you will likely need to find alternative accommodation quickly. We advise you to speak to your Support Coach, as soon as possible, if you are thinking of starting work, looking for work, or been offered employment so that support plans can be put in place.
When you are ready to think about moving on, we have a dedicated team member who can support you to find affordable accommodation.
Housing Benefit
If you are eligible for Housing Benefit, we will apply to Luton Council to have this paid directly to Squared. If we request further information or documents from you in order to progress the application you must do this as soon as possible, as there is a time limit to provide evidence to the council.
Failure to do this will result in you generating rent arrears. You may receive multiple Housing Benefit Reviews from the council during your stay here at Squared. Please keep us inform if you have any communication with Luton Borough Council. If you have been requested to provide documents, please inform us as soon as possible in order that we can ensure your Housing Benefit remains in payment.
Should you do (or not do) something that results in your Housing Benefit being stopped or unpaid you will be liable for the amount and this may put your accommodation at risk.
LBC Housing Benefit will not pay for utilities, you will need to pay your service charge yourself, the amount is specified in the rent breakdown in your Management Agreement (under ‘Ineligible Charges’).
