Your responsibilities in HMO accommodation

As part of staying in our HMO properties, there are some important things you also need to follow in order to get the most out your time:

  • Come to your support sessions – we want to get to know you so that we can provide the best possible support. The support is personalised to you, and we have a passionate, non-judgemental team that want to help.
  • Fire safety – smoking and vaping are not allowed in your accommodation. Covering or tampering with your smoke alarm is also not allowed.
  • Dangerous or offensive weapons are not allowed, everyone’s safety is our priority.
  • Abusive, threatening, harassing or violent behaviour towards other customers, visitors or the Squared team is not tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Noise – please respect others that live there and keep noise and music to a reasonable level.
  • Pets aren’t allowed in the accommodation unfortunately.
  • Non-prescription drugs are not permitted on the premises.
  • Alcohol is not permitted in communal spaces.
  • Look after where you live – please don’t leave items or rubbish in the corridors or in the bin areas. We want you to enjoy where you live and have a clean and comfortable space.
